Using a Phillips head screwdriver, you can remove these screws. Once the screws are removed, carefully lift the bottom case off your MacBook. Be careful not to lose any of the screws!

Now that the bottom case is removed, you should be able to see the speakers on each side of the logic board. Clean the speaker grilles by blowing out any dust or dirt that has accumulated in the speaker grilles.

Be sure to aim the compressed air at the speaker grilles and not directly at the speakers themselves.

Step4:

Next, use a dry cloth to wipe down the speakers and the area around them. Be careful not to get any liquid on the logic board or other sensitive components.

Step5:

Once you have finished cleaning the speakers and the surrounding area, replace the bottom case of your MacBook and screw it back into place. Then, plug your MacBook back in and turn it on. Your speakers should now be clean and free of dirt and dust!
